Carlton Resources for Hurricane Harvey

Beginning August 26, 2017, the entire Houston area suffered devastating damage due to Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath. We at Carlton Staffing/Carltech understand this is a difficult time for all of our employees, and we want to assist in the process of getting everyone back to normal as soon as possible.

We know that many of you were not able to work at all last week, or if you did work it was less than your normal weekly hours. We want to help!

We will be providing insurance “premium forgiveness” for the week ending 9/3/17. If you and/or your family members were enrolled in any PanAmerican product (medical, dental/vision) during that week (8/28/17 – 9/3/17), AND you are an active employee with Carlton Staffing/Carltech, we will pay the premium for you for that week. (NOTE: Regular deductions will resume for hours worked during the week ending 9/10/17.)

At Carlton, we provide LegalShield as one of our benefits in our Benefits Package. We have partnered with LegalShield on offering special benefits for our Houston employees.

For current members, they have UNLIMITED access to the law firm for every question. Even if they're not sure it's legal - call to find out if it's something the law firm can help with, there's no charge under the membership. They'll also review documents (up to 15 pages) and, if needed, write a letter/make a call on behalf of the member. The law firm is extended their return call times till 9pm Mon-Fri.

This area is even covered under pre-existing situations so if someone is not currently a member, they can become a member and still access these services. If you need to review their benefits, here is the LegalShield/Carlton-RWR site: www.legalshield.com/info/carltonstaffing

We have been posting throughout the week other resources and tools to try and assist those in need of help. Please review our Hurricane Harvey Relief post, Insurance Update post, and the Texas Workforce Commission Disaster Unemployment Assistance post.

Our sincere hope is that you are back to work and working on recovery from the hurricane damage in your own life. We appreciate all that you do!
